about

As with all my songs there's a story here. I was in Nashville and missed the opportunity to buy a pair of boots that I loved. My mate Bill who was with me suggested I write a song about it, maybe call it The Boots I Never Wore. We had a laugh about it but then when I got home to the UK I met some refugees. Their story was harrowing to say the least - I'd never know what it must be like to be in their shoes. These were the boots I never wore.
In May this year I'm visiting the refugee camps in Lebanon with Global Care. We're setting up shack schools for the displaced kids to ensure they get some ongoing education. It's a great project and all the profits from the sales of these songs will go towards it. You can pay what you like, the more the better. Thanks so much for your support
